Meet The Owner

Janet R Carter Grundy is the creator of J Rachel, LLC (pronounced jay-ray-shell), a handmade business born from her passion for sewing and crafting.

The former Miss Black Indiana resides in the Ohio Valley with her husband of 34 years.  She has two children, two step-daughters and four sweet grandchildren.   Janet believes J Rachel is a divine opportunity to express her creativity with unique and one-of-a-kind custom designs. 

She brings several years’ experience in creating various handmade products.  Her goal is to produce and sell durable, trendy and uniquely handmade items with love and to provide customers with beautiful artistic products.
